About Tokyo Vision Eye Clinic
Our eye clinic is located at JR Asagaya station. We provide general &primary ophthalmic care and check-ups listed below to English speaking patients. We are outpatient-based clinic and, when needed, we will refer you to the appropriate specialist and surgery center .
Dr.Ide specializes in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery and at your request, I can perform these kinds of surgeries at the affiliated surgery center .

- ortholeratology (night wearing contact)
At our clinic, patients with reservations have priority over walk-ups. Depending on the situation and required examinations, we may have to keep you waiting for a while. The new patient to our clinic, new contact user, and/or patients needing special examinations(e.g. visual field test, pupil dilation) have to check in our clinic 30 min earlier than usual cut-off time.
Insurance Card and Photo ID
Medical fee is/isn’t covered by Japanese national health insurance depending on the conditions and your requests. In any case, please bring your health insurance card, as we have to check health insurance card every month. If you don’t have insurance card, please bring photo ID(driver license, passport) for identification purpose.

He earned his medical degree from Osaka University and worked as an Ophthalmologist at Osaka University Hospital and Osaka Police Hospital.He graduated from Ph.D course at Osaka University medical school. He continued his research activities at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute Univerity of Miami. He joined Minamiaoyama Eye Clinic, Minato-ku, Tokyo. He opened Tokyo Vision Eye Clinic Asagaya in 2017.
